Mossel Bay scores again with audit

THE Mossel Bay Municipality has received its second unqualified audit report in two years. Mayor Marie Ferreira announced the 2008/09 unqualified report when she tabled the municipality’s annual report, spokesman Harry Hill said yesterday. The mayor said the clean audit report was the result of continued good management, excellent financial control systems and the sustained joint efforts of the Council and municipal staff. She said the municipality also maintained its reputation as one of the financially healthiest and best managed municipalities in the country.
