lynette

After graduating from the National School of Arts in Johannesburg and travelling abroad for a couple years, Lynette went back to Johannesburg to study Graphic Design and Animation.
From there she started working full time for the Caxton Group, first in the Newspaper department and then later moving to the magazine division, where she was appointed as Creative Director for People Magazine, but also free-lanced for Style, Your Family, Food & Home and Marie Claire magazines.
After 6 years at the Caxton Group she decided to give the hustle & bustle of city life up for a more serene setting; moving to Zambia where she co-founded the Copper Belt Direct, a quarterly publication aimed at expats living in Zambia.
Moving back to South Africa, Lynette became co-owner of a small web- and graphic design company based in Polokwane, before moving to Mossel Bay where she has lived ever since and has firmly put down roots.
Lynette is the owner of Garden Route Advertising and Business Finder, a local graphic design and publishing company.
With her many years experience in the graphic and publishing industry, she not only strives to give her clients cutting edge designs, but assist them with all aspects of successfully marketing their company or business; from creating corporate identities and brand building, to designing and printing of advertisements, business cards, yearbooks and brochures.
A huge part of her business is also publishing the annual business directory, the Business Finder.
This popular glossy directory is not only the only publication of its sort endorsed by the Mossel Bay Municipality, Business Chamber and Tourism Buro, but also the only one that caters for both locals and tourist alike. Even through a recession and the worst drought this region has seen in centuries, the Business Finder has managed to grow from strength to strength, still offering its clients the most effective and affordable means of advertising.
Being passionate about Mossel Bay, Lynette decided to get involved with the Business Chamber and has been a part of the management team since its inception in 2009.
With her positive outlook, passion for life and all things beautiful and her dedication and commitment to all that she does, Lynette hopes to help and inspire not only her clients, but all those around her through assisting in Mossel Bay’s growth
